Percusionista nacido en el distrito de <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>\u201cSpanish Harlem\u201d en Nueva York<\/strong> <\/span>aunque de or\u00edgenes puertorrique\u00f1os, desarroll\u00f3 su trabajo en base a la <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>m\u00fasica cubana<\/strong><\/span>: mambo, chachach\u00e1. bolero, guaracha y jazz afrocubano.<\/h5>\n<h5>Tito Puente estudi\u00f3 piano y bater\u00eda aunque su carrera musical comenz\u00f3 tocando <span style=\"color: #800080;\"><strong>percusiones latinas en una orquesta de Miami<\/strong><\/span>.
