Why Magic?

Magic is built around social dancing rather than just a packed workshop schedule. The combination of afternoon socials, long night parties and multiple dance floors gives dancers plenty of time to actually enjoy the music, meet people and dance throughout the weekend.

Its more personal atmosphere also makes it easier to connect with other dancers and artists than at some of the very large European congresses.

With the main festival venue right in the city centre, it’s also easy to step outside the festival bubble and enjoy Ljubljana’s cafés, restaurants and old town between activities.

Magic Slovenian Salsa Festival 2027 takes place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 14–17 January 2027.
