Experience a two-week Bachata retreat in the heart of the Dominican Republic, fully immersed in the authentic culture, music, and dance. Unlike large bachata festivals, our bachata camp offers a close-knit, family atmosphere. We learn in small groups, live together, and explore the country, all while prioritizing high-quality instruction and the personal progress of each student. It's a journey filled with learning, fun, and unforgettable new experiences!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM BAILAMAR DECEMBER'24:

30 hours of dance classes and workshops in small groups (up to 15 people) with local and international instructors. You will explore bachata, taste merengue, bolero and dembow!

We will visit three different cities: Las Terrenas, Santo Domingo and a very special for our program - San Pedro de Macoris

Local dance parties every night dancing bachata, salsa, merengue and other styles

Live concerts

Beach tours every afternoon after the classes. We will not stick to the same spots, we will be travelling around. The most enthusiastic even have a chance to try surfing.

We will visit a family home of one of our team members, learn about traditional Dominican cuisine, and learn the recipe for mamajuana drink. With local musicians, we will learn about the instruments and rhythms in bachata.

We will explore the beauty of the Dominican nature, paradise beaches, marvellous caves.

Historical centre of Santo Domingo - the capital and the first city in the Americas. We will explore its day and nightlife.

Traditional pool party at the end of the program together with all the instructors and local dancers with whom you will definitely become good friends by that time!
