It was a great event, with many nice suprises, shows and workshops, I managed to learn from some of the top bachata artists. The discount on spa was also a nice surprise and it was much appreciated after 2 days and nights of festival. On things to improve, I would mention: the time of the social party (1:30 AM it’s a bit late for starting the party). Ok event overall, with great shows and surprises along the way. But not without bad experiences either: No one wanted to refund my tokens after the bar closed. I asked the staff, they blamed the organizers, then the organizers blamed the hotel. A woman went to a hotel staff, after the bar closed and complained - she got a drink. When I asked him, he said: "sorry we can’t do anything, it’s closed", and ran away :)) typical, well played guys.

I loved the festival and I had an amazing time. Thank you so much for organizing it. I have few improvements to mention 1. I did not enjoy the socials that much as dj kept playing a lot of salsa and a lot of fast dominican songs. I don't think it was only my impression. So many people kept leaving to the hall because the dj kept interupting the songs with his talks. I will probably think twice whether to go to the congress where dj york is playing. Also, I think there could have been two rooms.

The event was good overall, however there were issues that unfortunately made it a less enjoyable experience. 1. The festival is called 'Madrid Esencia' but the event was actually not in Madrid, but in a small town in the vicinity of Madrid called Aranjuez. This meant that we not only did not get to feel like we were at a dance event in the capital city of Spain, but also that we had to spend a long time on public transport as the hotel wasn't the best connected location to the airport. 2. I loved the festival for many reasons. Everything else was perfect, the only points, and that are very common among festivals indeed : - artists staying near the room entrance during socials, creating congestion and making it difficult to go out and in and dangerous to dance at this location. - sound was too high, especially during the salsas (less people and sounds different than bachata). I had to leave the room as it killed my ears although i was willing to dance.
